The term TOPO comes from ‘topology’, a concept that deals with the deformation of spaces. TOPO stands for the creation of sonic spaces that emerge through improvisation in the resonance between musicians and audience, changing continuously – while always retaining their core characteristics.
The TOPO series is curated by Chris Heenan and Andreas Voccia.
Der Begriff TOPO kommt von „Topologie“, einem Konzept, das sich mit der Verformung von Räumen beschäftigt. TOPO steht für die Schaffung von Klangräumen, die durch Improvisation in der Resonanz zwischen Musikern und Publikum entstehen und sich ständig verändern – dabei aber immer ihre Kerneigenschaften beibehalten.
Die TOPO-Reihe wird von Chris Heenan und Andreas Voccia kuratiert.
